“Ensuring access to robust and reliable digital infrastructure is vital for London,” said Theo Blackwell, Chief Digital Officer, Greater London Authority. “The mayor is committed to create a city that leverages technology to boost connectivity, services, and sustainability making the capital a better, safer and more prosperous city for all.”

Key to this agreement is the use of Boldyn as a neutral host provider, which brings together scale and knowledge from seven leading companies to harness fibre, 4G/LTE, accelerate 5G, and prepare for 6G.

We are delighted to be working with G.Network in our shared commitment to deliver London’s smart city ambitions, as we build a new fibre network across London in partnership with Transport for London,” said Billy D’Arcy, CEO of Boldyn Networks UK and Ireland. “By harnessing the power of cutting-edge technology and robust infrastructure, we aim to unlock new opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and inclusivity, ultimately improving the quality of life for all Londoners.”

The new partnership combines Boldyn’s experience in smart infrastructure development with G.Network’s full-fibre broadband offerings.

G.Network’s CEO, Kevin Murphy added: “ Together, we will demonstrate how smart infrastructure expertise, coupled with our gigafast network can turn the mayor’s vision for a better-connected London into a reality.”
