The master track in Urban Environment, Sustainability and Climate Change examines a spectrum of policies, approaches, and instruments designed to realize climate resilience, climate neutrality, and environmental sustainability in urban areas across the globe. The prestigious and highly anticipated Awards ceremony for the AIPH World Green City Awards 2024 will take place in the City of Utrecht on 25th September 2024 at the Future Green City World Congress.
The 2024 Awards ceremony will take the form of a dedicated gala dinner, set to be hosted on 25th September 2024 at the Royal Jaarbeurs in the heart of the City of Utrecht, Netherlands. Building on the legacy of the inaugural 2022 edition, this momentous occasion forms an integrated part of the official program of the first Future Green City World Congress, which is a global four-day event organised by the Royal Association Stadswerk the Netherlands, the Royal Dutch Society for Garden Designers and Landscapers (VHG), and the City of Utrecht.
The Future Green City World Congress will be held from 23rd – 26th September 2024 at the Beatrix Theatre in Utrecht, with over 3,000 experts from around the world expected to attend and share their passion and knowledge for shaping greener cities of the future. The gala dinner is expected to have more than 400 guests in attendance to share in this historic celebration of city-led urban greening.
Connecting all professionals and decision makers in the urban greening sector, the Congress boasts an exciting programme which will showcase the most inspiring examples of green city transformations from all over the world, making it the perfect global stage on which to celebrate the Finalists and winners of the AIPH World Green City Awards 2024.
