Driving modal shift in cities with mobility data

Many cities worldwide are making strides in improving their public transport systems, from building new infrastructure to introducing new bus lines and increasing service frequency. However, despite these efforts, challenges such as high pollution levels and traffic congestion persist.

Often, these initiatives are not as effective as they could be because they lack the foundation of quality data. A forward-thinking approach to addressing these issues is a “data-first” strategy, says Dr Tobias Franke, AI and Mobile Solutions Leader, PwC.
