Velo-city 2022 Ljubljana

Taking place on 14-17 June 2022, Velo-city 2022 Ljubljana will be jointly hosted by the European Cyclists’ Federation (ECF), Gospodarsko razstavišče d.o.o (GR), Dekon and the City of Ljubljana.

As the annual flagship event of ECF, Velo-city plays a valuable role in promoting cycling as a sustainable and healthy means of transport for all. Like no other event, the conference offers a knowledge-exchange and policy-transfer platform to the growing number of more than 1,400 Velo-citizens from over 60 countries.

With 55 sessions, seven plenaries and numerous networking opportunities, Velo-city 2022 Ljubljana will lead the way in defining the inclusive cycling environments of the future. From national cycling strategies to beating “bikelash,” creative campaigns for more cycling and innovative placemaking practices, this year’s programme will host a variety of voices from the sustainable mobility scene. The main theme, Cycling the Change, will be explored from various angles to accelerate the positive change that can be achieved through cycling.

The Velo-city exhibition serves as a global gathering point, showcasing the latest innovations for a better cycling experience in cities and beyond. Public authorities, advocates, urban planners, engineers, architects and researchers can join forces with business and industry representatives to bring better cycling to our cities.
