Climate-neutral and resilient cities are essential in the fight against the growing threat and impacts of climate change. However, this endeavor must align with the sustainable development goals that aim to ensure the responsible use and management of vital natural resources essential for the planet’s continued existence.

The master track in Urban Environment, Sustainability and Climate Change examines a spectrum of policies, approaches, and instruments designed to realize climate resilience, climate neutrality, and environmental sustainability in urban areas across the globe. The primary focus revolves around the three pivotal natural resources and public goods that form the basis of sustainable urban living—land, water, and air.
