Vision Zero Los Angeles 2015-2025

The City of Los Angeles is committed to eliminating fatalities caused by traffic collisions. In August 2015, Mayor Eric Garcetti issued Executive Directive Number 10, Vision Zero for Los Angeles, which committed the City of Los Angeles to the principle that there is no acceptable number of traffic deaths. This directive prioritizes human life in the design and operation of our streets and sets a goal to eliminate traffic deaths by 2025.
