Panel discussion: Connected Cities for Better Living

On 4 November, at the Smart City Expo in Barcelona, the Cities Today Institute will moderate a panel discussion on the role of interoperability. This interactive panel will take place in Hall 2, Stand C73 and start at 16.00h.

What you will learn

We will explore how cities can embrace interoperability to transform isolated initiatives into integrated, citywide ecosystems that improve efficiency and quality of life. We will examine the strategic roles of data, connectivity, cloud and open standards, and discuss successful use cases such as smart street lighting.

Speakers

For this discussion we will draw on the experience and practical examples provided by our panel of expert speakers:

  • Travis Shanahan, Open Mobile Alliance
  • Guillermo del Campo, Madrid IoT Laboratory
  • Julia Arneri Borghese, Paradox Engineering
  • Rikesh Shah, Cities Today Institute (moderator)

The panel discussion will be followed by a drinks reception compliments of Paradox Engineering/MinebeaMitsumi.
