The IFSEC & FIREX Awards were presented at a ceremony held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, UK,  last week, recognising the people, products and technological advancements that have shaped the security industry over the past year.

“These awards bring the UK’s private security industry together for a very special celebration of achievement,” said James Kelly, Chief Executive of the British Security Industry Association (BSIA). “The security industry prides itself on innovation and this year’s IFSEC & FIREX Awards highlight just how committed the industry is to quality service delivery and technological development.”

Integrating for the first year, the IFSEC & FIREX Awards is the premier event for the fire and security industry to celebrate security and fire innovations over the last 12 months. In association with the British Security Industry Association (BSIA), Fire Industry Association (FIA) and Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP), the awards are both a celebration and an acknowledgement of excellence of the products and technological innovations, influencing and shaping the industry and security or fire professionals.

“We have been delighted by the huge number of entrants to the IFSEC & FIREX Awards this year,” said Charlie Cracknell, IFSEC Event Director. “As the security and fire industries becoming increasingly integrated, acknowledging the significant impact they have on each other is crucial.”
